schoolboy from Dagenham: "To the Red Army we owe our present safe nights and still more, our future happy days. We look forward to the times when we shall see some of you here, in our lanes, in our schools, or when we shall meet Soviet scholars on your own Russian soil."

SV Leva Fednov speaks: "The Red army is strong and at the head of our country we have our great leader, Stalin."
