'I will sue Caprice' - Rafizi

Former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli is proceeding with a defamation suit against influencer Caprice, after what he says were several ignored opportunities for an apology.

The dispute stems from allegations made by the influencer, whose real name is Ariz Ramli, over Rafizi’s business interests in his company, Invoke Solutions.

Rafizi insists the claims are baseless, and suggests the controversy is an attempt to divert attention from his scrutiny of the MACC chief.

Caprice, however, denies using the word “corruption” or mentioning a RM2.5 billion figure.

He has instead demanded that Rafizi apologise and remove related posts by 5pm today.
