Falklands - A Way of Life

This was made in 1985 and shows what life was like then on the Falkland Islands and their desire to remain with Britain . After the war with Argentina in 1982 many people wondered what happens on these remote island and why it was still part of Britain. It is now a self-governing British Overseas Territory.
Whatever your feelings about the war that was waged over these distant islands, this film remains an interesting insight into the people that live there and shows how they live their day to day lives.
I was the cameraman and we were asked to make this film whilst on one of filming trips recording the construction of the new airfield being built there.
