Captioned! Mirfield to Leeds via Wakefield and Normanton

Before anybody tells me, yes it was raining cats and dogs but it was too good an opportunity to get this run to Leeds via the Normanton Line. It follows the River Calder from Mirfield to Altofts Junction then runs north to Leeds via Woodlesford. The down line separates from the up line at the disused Healey Mills yard for quite some distance. If you’ve travelled north on the M1 towards Leeds, you’ll recognise the line as it passes through Horbury Junction towards Wakefield. I may revisit this run if I get it on a fine day but for now I think the HD footage is good and we don’t stop just because of the weather! Thanks to the staff involved in getting this footage.
