• Halifax Family Boost Mortgage
• Family member puts 10% into Halifax savings (family boost fixed savings account)
• Two family members can contribute
• The money needs to be in the account at least seven days before you exchange contracts
• You cannot take the money out for three years
• You Can’t buy new build or self build properties
• Its your home, 100%
• You or your family member must have a Halifax Reward or Ultimate Reward Current Account
• Your monthly payments contribute towards the mortgage and repaying the deposit back to your family. After three years your family members get their money back, plus interest. However you do need to make sure monthly payments are met otherwise what they get back could be lower or take longer to repay

“You can only apply for a Family Boost Mortgage in branch or by phone. Call us (Halifax) on 0345 124 1313 to apply or book an appointment.”
