DIY Storage Shelves | Utility Shelves | Fast Build | Show Me Construction

In this video, I will show you how to build strong storage/utility shelving for your basement or garage. These shelves measure 8 feet wide and 2 feet deep. In this video we are building them in the basement of a new home. Thanks for watching!

Materials Used:
3 inch deck screws (for the 2x4s)
3 ½ inch screws (for extra reinforcement going from the 2x4s into studs)
1 ½ inch multi-material screws (to hold the plywood in place)
2x4s
2 sheets of 1/2 inch plywood (we asked Home Depot to cut these in half)

Tools Used:
Skilsaw
Screw Gun
Measuring Tape
Pencil
Stud Finder (optional)
