Brazilian Gemstones in 18th Century Jewellery, with Luisa Penalva

The 14th Home Gemmology webinar, with the support of CIBJO - The World Jewellery Confederation, is a follow up on another webinar that covered the history of Brazilian diamonds and their impact in jewellery, especially in the 18th century. Now, it's time to talk coloured gemstones, with topaz, beryl, amethyst and chrysoberyl among the gems featured in this session illustrated with fabulous Portuguese 18th century jewellery. To make things more exclusive, my special guest is Luisa Penalva, curator of Gold, Silver, and Jewellery Collections of the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga in Lisboa that will be live from museum with our unique national treasures at hand! This private tour is not to be missed!
