Botcon 1998 Script Reading (with Introduction by Ben Yee)

On June 19 and 20, 1998 Transformers fans gathered in Anaheim, CA for Botcon 1998. One of the events held at this convention was a script reading by an all star cast of talent. Bob Forward (Beast Wars Transformers Story Editor) wrote the script. Vince DiCola provided music and sound effects while "Beast Wars" actors Garry Chalk, David Kaye, Scott McNeil and Doug Parker stood alongside their director Susan Blu to act out the fun and action packed tale which featured lots of in-jokes and silliness.

I was fortunate enough to be a tiny part of this script reading and I recently unearthed my VHS copy of the event. Please enjoy this video of the event with an introduction by yours truly.

Note: Ben's World of Transformers claims no ownership over the video of the actual script reading itself. The VHS was provided to me by the owners of Botcon at the time as a courtesy since I was involved. In 2023 (when this video is being posted) there are new owners of Botcon so who this truly "belongs to" is up in the air. This is being posted on this channel to preserve the memories of a fun and unique event in Transformers history.
