What’s Happening at Anshai? Purim Is Here!

It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into March, and there is so much happening at Anshai Torah. This Shabbat, our 7th–12th grade families are invited to a special Friday night dinner and conversation with Zach Wolchuk of 105.3 The Fan and the Dallas Cowboys as he shares what it’s like to work in communications as a Jewish professional. Shabbat morning, join Rabbi Kornsgold for our monthly Learners Minyan to explore the prayers, the meaning behind our service, and the why behind what we do.

Then we kick off Purim with our family Carnival on Sunday morning, followed by our adult Purim Hoedown Monday night. Come in costume, try the mechanical bull, learn some line dancing, make your own cowboy hat, and enjoy a bourbon tasting as we celebrate one of the most fun nights of the year. The following weekend, we have the joy of officially installing Hazzan Matt Austerklein as Cantor of Anshai Torah, with a special Friday night installation service and dinner, and a Sunday afternoon concert featuring special guests.

There is so much to look forward to in the weeks ahead. I can’t wait to see you as we continue building a stronger, more unified Anshai Torah.
