Pamela A. Field - Biography
Pamela Anne Field is an international workshop leader, speaker and healer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cross Cultural Studies and International Affairs from Empire State College (State University of New York). For more than twenty years Pamela has traveled throughout Spain (and Europe) leading workshops, presenting conferences and offering
healing work.
Pamela was born in New Jersey and lived in New York City from 1980 until 1997. She also lived in Mexico and Spain and speaks Spanish fluently. In Spain, she collaborated with the Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer (a governmental department of the Andalusian Board of Directors), offering conferences and workshops to psychologists and social workers specializing in cases of gender violence. While living in Tucson, Arizona, Pamela collaborated with the Department of Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona (founded by Dr. Andrew Weil). She has worked with physicians, researchers and scientists focused on the theme of alternative healing methods.
Pamela is the author of two books:
- The Woman Who Dreams Herself: A Guide for Awakening the Feminine.
- Free the Past, Heal the Future: A Method and Guide for the Liberation of Inherited Ancestral Trauma.
She traveled to explore the philosophies and practices of different native cultures, including: the Oglala Lakota, Apache, Toltec, Maya and Maori (in New Zealand). From 1993 until 1998 she attended numerous workshops and conferences offered by Carlos Castaneda in California and Mexico.
