NASAI: Generational Trauma and Healing in Indigenous Communities
In this session Darryl Tonemah, an American Indian psychologist and musician who has done extensive work in Native communities on trauma and its relationship to behavior and change, will discuss historical trauma and healing in Indigenous communities and provide insights and strategies for those working with Native student populations in K–12 and higher ed. The focus will be on increasing wellness and aiding our students along their pathways to personal and academic success.
