British Airways A380 IS BACK! London Heathrow to Frankfurt *Full Flight* + Cabin Walk Around

After being grounded for 18 months due to the pandemic this week British Airways restarted passenger flights on the giant Airbus A380! To reintroduce them and familiarise the aircraft to crew & pilots they are scheduled to operate daily between London & Frankfurt and also London & Madrid throughout November, before they return to their longhaul duties from December. From December BA will operate the Super Jumbo to Dubai, Miami & Los Angeles with more destinations in the new year such as Dallas Ft Worth which is a new route for BA's A380, which starts in March 2022.
Well these inter-European flights onboard the mighty A380 has certainly drawn up a lot of attention, they're probably the most documented flights on YouTube recently with just about every planespotter / airline reviewer / vlogger taking a trip out to get on one of them. But here is my video on it!
Filmed on Friday 12th November 2021. An early start, 7:00 departure from Heathrow. We pushed back bang on time, not a minute behind scheduled! Started engines and taxied for departure from 27L. Climbing away from a grey, overcast Heathrow to an even greyer Frankfurt. Passing a very busy T5 as we climb into the clouds. Once on top we were greeted by a gorgeous sunrise. Climbed up to 41,000ft over the Channel into Belgium airspace. Once in the cruise I had the fantastic opportunity thanks to the amazing crew onboard for a full walk around on the A380. So going up the back staircase through the World Traveller & Plus cabins on the upper deck into Club World. A quick look around, including a look at the infamous huge front toilets upstairs which have a changing seat as well. Before heading down the forward staircase, through the First Cabin and back to my seat on the main deck in the rear part of the Traveller cabin.
A very foggy day at Frankfurt, it seemed as if the gear came down very early. No... in fact we were actually very low & close to the ground. It was just a very low cloud base. LVP's into FRA and touching down on RWY25L for a long taxi the length of the airport back up to our final parking stand.
Once again, I have to thank the crew onboard for allowing not only me, but lots of aviation enthusiasts to have a full tour and look around there beautiful A380. They were all so friendly and welcoming, something BA is renowned for is having the best crew and its so evident in these videos as to why!
Would quickly like to point out that Upper Deck is blocked off on these flights. So only the main deck is bookable. The other half of the crew use the upper deck as part of their training & familiarisations. So very grateful they allowed us to have a quick look around.

So there you have it! So pleased BA have kept these incredible Super Jumbos unlike many others who have gotten rid of them. They are certainly now the flagship of the fleet. For me, A380's are a completely different flying experience to any other longhaul aircraft. They are so spacious, extremely smooth and without any contest one of the quietest aircraft you will ever fly on. Certainly quieter than a 787 dreamliner.
Look out for the video of the return sector which includes a much better engine view during the take off & landing...
