So I was in the area and decided to head back to an old spot of mine. I haven't filmed at London City Airport for years. I didn't stay for long as it was a fairly quiet time of the day for the airport, not to mention the wind was biting cold.
The new taxiway at LCY has now opened allowing aircraft to taxi in parallel to the runway to the far end of RWY27, without the need to backtrack. Something which I've not yet seen, nor caught on film.
