Embellished Flip and Drag Acrylic Pour Fluid Art Painting using a Shot Glass & Gold Mica Powder

For todays acrylic pour fluid art painting I embellished on top of a dried flip a drag pour, that was created using a disposable shot glass. The gold embellishments were created using dispersed mica powder mixed with Liquitex gloss medium.

Paints used:
Pebeo studio acrylics in alizarin crimson and pebeo iridescent in red blue. Amsterdam standard in naphthalo red medium and titanium white (two bottles). One of the two bottles is mixed with just Australian flood floetrol (the bloom CA mix). Golden fluid acrylics in quinacridone violet, this was also mixed with just Australian floetrol.

I used dispersed Mennyo gold mica powder mixed with Liquitex gloss medium create the gold embellishments.

My pouring medium is 50% Floetrol, 30-35% Liquitex Pouring Medium and 15-20% Water. Generally, the paints are 2:1 (pouring medium to paint) and if needed I will thin further with more water to get the right consistency. Again, some paints require less pouring medium than others. My ratio also varies depending on the paint brand and even the colour, but this is the most uniform figures I have. I hope it helps.
