Gold, Purple and Blue Double Bloom Technique Acrylic Pouring on Canvas with Negative Space in Middle

I wanted to create an acrylic pour using the bloom technique with negative space in between. My initial blooms just didn't cut it for me and the area I pointed to was kind of muddy (but hard to pick up on camera) and the colours under the pillow were creeping through but not in a pretty way. I blew out a second set of blooms and was much happier with those. I enjoyed tweaking with a straw and just having fun with these blooms.

Recently, I have been trying to just go with it and embrace the lack of control with this art form. I had gotten in my own head for a while and was getting irritated because I was not getting what I wanted. I have to say though, the less I try to control the pour the better it turns out. Sometimes I just get in my own way and I need to take a step back a regroup. Does that happen to anyone else?
Colours used:
Liquitex basics in dioxazine purple. DecoArt extreme sheen in lavender frost. Windsor and Newton galleria in windsor blue (not used in the second set of blooms). Pebeo iridescent in precious gold mixed with dispersed Mennyo mica powder in gold. Pebeo iridescent in violet blue mixed with Amsterdam standard in permanent red violet. Amsterdam standard in titanium white, this was not included in the second set of blooms.
Cell activator - Amsterdam standard in oxide black mixed with Australian flood foletrol (80/20).

****Products Used****
Pillow: - Valspar, interior walls and ceiling, white silk Pouring Medium: - 3 parts - Valspar, Wood and Metal, Base C (NOT tinted) - 1 part - Rustins, Quick Dry Varnish, Clear Gloss.
This ratio is an estimate and to be used as a guide only. I use 2-3 parts pouring medium to 1 part paint (approximately).
Cell Activator: - Amsterdam oxide black or titanium white (many other colours also work) mixed with Australian flood floetrol and/or Water, I use a mix of both. I purchase Australian floetrol from Ebay. Erica Hughes Art gave me a great tip of using just water and paint as my cell activator and for me it worked a treat.
