Gaza communications blackout hampers aid deliveries | DW News

Palestinians inside Gaza have been cut off from the outside world and each other after telephone and internet lines went down on Thursday according to according to Gazan authorities and communications companies. The outage is hampering aid deliveries in the territory. Israel recently approved the temporary flow of aid into Gaza through its Kerem Shalom crossing. The US has been pressing Israel to expand and sustain the flow of humanitarian assistance into the territory.
