Should you pay off your mortgage early or invest? We explore three scenarios of paying off your mortgage early, investing it fully into the S&P500 or going half and half and exploring how much money you would have at the end of 25 years.

The reality is, there may be a clear financial winner, however, this is also about your stage of life and your preferences and appetite for risk. Paying down your mortgage is a guaranteed saving as the interest lowers. Investing it in a Stocks & Shares ISA may yield higher returns, but isn't guaranteed.
