Classic F1 - 2008 British Grand Prix

Due to a copyright issue, I have had to remove approximately 90 seconds of the video around lap 51. The only significant thing in that clip was Felipe Massa having yet another spin in his Ferrari.

The 9th round of the 2008 Formula 1 season. The race took place at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom and will be remembered by fans as the race where Lewis Hamilton dominated his home Grand Prix in wet conditions winning the race over a minute ahead of anybody else. It was also remembered for Rubens Barrichello using the conditions to his advantage to score Honda's final podium in Formula 1. Heikki Kovalainen in the McLaren took his first ever pole position but on race day he was unable to compete against his much more determined teammate and was soon left behind by a dominant Hamilton.

Going into the race Ferrari driver Felipe Massa led the drivers championship by 2 points from Robert Kubica in the BMW Sauber with the second Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen a further 3 points behind followed by Hamilton who was 5 points behind him. Ferrari held a comfortable lead in the constructors championship from BMW Sauber and McLaren but with half of the season still to go, who would come out on top in one of the most exciting seasons in history?
