The 15th round of the 2008 Formula 1 season. The race took place at the Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore and will be remembered by fans as 'Crashgate'. The Renault team ordered their own driver Nelson Piquet Jr. to intentionally crash his car in order to bring out the Safety Car to benefit the other driver in the team, Fernando Alonso. The race is also remembered for Ferrari driver Felipe Massa driving down the pit lane with the fuel nozzle still attached to his car causing him to pull over and wait while the mechanics raced down to his car to pull it out.

Going into the race McLaren's Lewis Hamilton had a 1 point lead in the championship over his title rival Ferrari's Felipe Massa. Ferrari held a 5 point lead over McLaren in the constructors championship so everything was still to play for in both championships. In one of the most exciting races of all time, who would come out on top?
