The New MacBook Air Is Missing One Thing

Apple’s new MacBook Air (starting at $999) is arguably the best laptop on the market. BUT it’s still missing one big thing—and it has been for years: Cellular connectivity.

Apple execs always point to the iPhone’s personal hotspot feature as the solution, but… meh. It’s not the same. Now that Apple has its own C1 cellular modem in the iPhone 16E, I’m hoping they finally embrace embedded cellular in MacBooks.

I can’t be the only one who wants this. Would you buy a MacBook with built-in cellular?
