Heyburn Brushed Steel Accent Table Lamp with USB Port Review

The Heyburn brushed steel accent table lamp with USB port is a small lamp that I found on Amazon and decided to try for my bedroom. It's modern and doesn't take up much table space and the shade is not going to get bumped as easily as a more traditional cone shape. The lamp measures 19 3/4" high x 6 1/4" wide and is rated to work with 60 watt or equivalent E26 light bulbs. I chose a Cree LED light bulb because it will save power and not get so hot. Turning this light on is easy because there's a simple rocker switch... you don't have to reach down to a cable or up to a dial or pull chain. Whether the light is on or off, you can power a USB device or plug into a 120 volt AC outlet (both situated on the lamp base). The AC outlet does not have a ground prong (just the positive and negative slots) and is close to the bottom of the lamp which means some cords could tip the lamp a bit. I also noticed that the lamp shade was more yellow than what appeared in the product photos online. I was expecting more of a bright pure white but overall, it still worked with my bed and wall colors. It's a solid and affordable bedroom lamp at $39.99. The lamp is cylinder in shape which means the shade is always aligned (compared to square or traingular shades and bases), the usb Port offers 5 Volts and 1 Amp of power, the base and center section are brushed steel metal but it also comes in black if you prefer. Apparently the parent company or brand is 360 Lighting, note that the shade itself is 6 1/4" diameter at the top and bottom and 16" high, so it doesn't taper in our out, it's straight.
