Subscribe and set 🔔 » https://7news.link/YTSubscribe | Queensland has witnessed another brutal night of firefighting with several areas still unsafe for locals to return. It's been an exhausting night for firefighters in Queensland, as 40 aircraft battled dozens of bush and grass fires all the way from the southern border to far north Queensland.
Residents north of Stanthorpe are being warned it's unsafe to return to their homes this morning as two bushfires continue to rage there.
The largest fire is at Carnarvon Gorge in Central Queensland which is now over 100 kilometres wide.

There could be some relief in sight for weary firefighters in Queensland with storms forecast for parts of the state's south east. Crews have been kept busy for days, battling intense bushfires.. including this one south of Warwick, which cut off parts of the New England Highway. It comes as support begins arriving from Victoria and New Zealand.
