Stripped/Polished Boeing 737 Fuselage Section Wall Clock Art Piece

Salvaged from a Fiji Airways Boeing 737 (Reg no.DQ-FJF) this double window fuselage section has been professionally stripped and polished to a very high standard resulting in a true mirror finish. For an aircraft that has flown many millions of miles during its lifetime the surface areas are in generally good condition with very little in the way of blemishes. With this particular panel missing the distinctive rivets I’ve attempted to replicate the appearance of rivets by drilling tiny indentations which has proven quite effective. The quartz clock mechanisms are centred onto Ivory coloured acrylic inserts decorated with clock face/time zone location decals, all encased behind the original plane windows. The added LED strip lights really give the item an eye-catching look with a variety of light shades available via a remote handset. The LED units are battery operated so no hanging wires are visible.
