Vintage 1950's RONEO filing index drawers - stripped and polished

Stunning set of vintage 1950's filing index drawers manufactured by renowned French office furniture company Roneo. Painstakingly stripped and polished to produce a flawless true mirror finish. The build quality of this unit is second to none; to say that it's built to last is an understatement! This is demonstrated by its weight - 37kg approx despite being only 59cm in height.

I decided to mount the cabinet on a set of 6 inch hairpin legs with the aim being that it may double as a side table/storage unit. I think the decision to do so has paid off as the extra height gained really does give the unit a very elegant look and feel. Each of the eight drawers open/close smoothly and the cabinet is lockable and comes supplied with key.

Most of the items I work on dating from this era often feature various scuffs, blemishes or small dents picked up over the years but apart from one or two very minor dents this unit is virtually free of any such imperfections. It really is in fantastic condition.
