Watchin' Movies & Dyin' Inside: "Mandroid" & "Invisible: The Chronicles of Benjamin Knight" (1993)

I watch another movie and see whether or not it's amazing or if I start dying inside. Today's double feature: 1993's "Mandroid", and it's sequel "Invisible: The Chronicles of Benjamin Knight", both directed by Jack Ersgard. "Mandroid" is about a scientist, a revenge crazed former-ally-turned-enemy named Ivan (pronounced Ee-Vahn) Drago, a forbidden romance, and some wacky car chases. And also, Mandroid, a sophisticated robot. The guy they named the movie after. He's there too.

There's also Benjamin Knight, a man slowly turning invisible, who then headlines his own film. He has about as much importance there as Mandroid does in his film. Which is to say, some, but not very much. Why they didn't call it "Mandroid 2"... A mystery for the ages.
