Watchin' Movies & Dyin' Inside: "Glitter" (2001)

I watch another movie and see whether or not it's amazing or if I start dying inside. Today's feature: 2001's "Glitter", directed by Vondie Curtis-Hall. It's the story of a young woman with a desire to make it in the harrowing record industry, and how she finds true love and self confidence along the way. But this isn't just your run of the mill rags-to-riches story -- it stars the iconic Mariah Carey, a terrifically talented chanteuse. Not a great actor though.

Kind of shocked this was only 104 minutes. It felt much, much longer.
