Policing in Naxalite areas is bit tough task. Non-state actors such as Naxalites take refuge in tribal areas of central India. But, the question is why they choose to live so? And, what if we make them believe in humanitarian living. Sandip optimistically and miraculously turned many Naxalites to ordinary citizens of India; that too without any bloodshed. Sandeep Patil is an IPS officer. He took over charge as superintendent. He has done phenomenal work in Gadchiroli district. Because of him, not only Naxal violence got declined but Morale of police personnel touched a high. His respect for police personnel won many hearts. Sandip Patil’s tenure would be cherished by all sections of society for a long time to come.
