The Sound of Silence - Simon and Garfunkel - Baritone Ukulele Cover

Here's a great Paul Simon song that I'm playing on my baritone ukulele. This song was a #1 hit for Simon and Garfunkel in 1965, after drums, electric guitar and bass were dubbed onto the acoustic guitar version the duo recorded for their debut album, 'Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.'
Simon said that he wrote the song in his bathroom. He liked to play guitar there because the tiled walls created a pleasing reverb/echo effect. He turned the lights off in the room to help him concentrate better, hence the opening lyric, "Hello darkness my old friend/I've come to talk with you again'".
