Harry Potter: Who Are The Strongest Wizards From Each House?

There are countless wizards and witches that attend Hogwarts in the Harry Potter universe, each of whom are incredibly strong in their own right. But, with so much competition between the houses, there’s always been a debate about which one is the best. Is it Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin -- we’ll have to go back to the place where the story begins, Hogwarts, if we want to figure out which, if any, of the houses reign supreme.

To see what each house is capable of, we’ll be looking at the strongest two witch or wizard from each house. We won’t just be looking at magical ability though. With so many differences in age and experience it would be an unfair fight (a first year is never going to match up to Voldemort’s skills and abilities) Instead, we’ll consider who has the greatest magic, who is a powerful duelist, and who's been able to beat who in a battle of wits. It also doesn’t matter how long the character attended Hogwarts -- essentially, all that matters is that they were sorted into a house at some point.

So, from books to movies, video games, and lore, which are the strongest witches and wizards that each Hogwarts house has to offer?
