Present simple vs present continuous ( with examples)
in this video we will compare the present simple tense to the present continuous tense . In other words , after this video you will be able to know when to use each one of these two tenses.
- when we are talking about actions that are happening at or near the moment of speaking we use the present continuous .
- when we are talking about things that happen repeatedly or things in general , we use the present simple .
- we use the present continuous for temporary situations
- we use the present simple for permanent ones.
