tWWIItter - Jack Lieb's Story: D-Day and Beyond

tWWIItter is our series of short films that imagines how World War Two would have been recorded had the men and women who fought and endured it possessed 21st century technology.
Jack Lieb was an experienced American newsreel and combat camera operator who joined the Allied forces for the D-Day landings that began the invasion of Nazi occupied France on June 6 1944.
Jack was one of many war correspondents who risked their lives in order to report from near to or on the front line, and his work captured the realities of war - its terrors and brutality, along with the heart-breaking youthfulness of most of those involved in the fighting.
