Zaid The Martyr (Al Shahid) - زيد ابن علي
Zayd ibn Ali was the son of Imam al Sajjad, he famously led a revolt against the Umayyad Caliphate. He was martyred and crucified in that famous battle. Zaydi Shias claim that he is the father of their school of thought. In this documentary we will examine the life of Zayd ibn Ali, why he chose to rise up and what key theological positions did he hold.
