ALS Hard to Talk 07/31/19

It is getting harder for me to talk. Sometimes I don't even understand myself! It's sad when I say something witty or when I come up with a hilarious dad joke, but nobody understands what I said! Losing the ability to speak is not uncommon for people with ALS.
God is the only one who completely understands me. He knows the meaning of every slurred word, and he even hears the silent prayers of my heart.

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts." -Psalm 139:23
