What I Eat in a Day | Joie Chavis
Hey everyone! You asked for it! This week we filmed “What I Eat in a Day” when I am on the go. This is how I stay healthy with a busy lifestyle and get in enough protein to support my workout routine. Before Breakfast:
Celery Juice with Ginger + Lemon
Optional warm water with lemon
Breakfast:
Organic Chicken Sausage from Whole Foods
Egg Whites + Spinach (topped with salt and pepper)
Bob’s Red Mill Rolled Oats topped with fruit
Lunch:
Rotisserie Chicken
Cucumber
Carrots
Green Onions
Purple Cabbage
Mandarin Oranges
Almonds
Feast From the East Sesame Dressing
Take skin off chicken + add toppings
Put into glass container or toss in bowl
Snack:
Honey crisp Apple with Almond Butter (Healthy Butter: Figzilla)
Banana
Belvita Biscuits
Aussie Bites
Chobani Greek Yogurt
So Delicious Dairy-Free Yogurt
Dinner:
Organic Salmon topped with lemon slices
Preheat oven to 375
Wash off Salmon + dry with paper towel
Add Garlic + Herb Seasoning
Add Crushed Red Pepper, Oregano, and Garlic
Add Black Pepper
Squeeze Lemon Slice
Drizzle with Olive Oil
Massage seasoning into Salmon
Top with Lemon Slices
Cook Salmon at 375 for 30 minutes + Broil for 5-10 minutes
Sweet Potato
Wrap with aluminum foil
Preheat oven to 375
On a baking sheet, (lined with foil for easy clean-up if you wish) prick sweet potatoes all over with a fork
Bake until tender, or until a fork inserted in the thickest part has no resistance for an hour and a halfLet cool, then split the tops open with a knife. Season with salt and pepper and add your favorite toppings
Asparagus
Preheat oven to 375
Cut off ends
Lay asparagus out evenly on foil
Drizzle olive oil on top
Add salt + pepper
Squeeze lemon on top
Cook at 375 for 20-25 minutes
