On outback caravanning trips, car and caravan dealers, even mechanical workshops can be a day or more distant, recovery can be uncertain and costly and you will need to be prepared for that. This video is about the tools and spares that we carry in our car and caravan on our outback journeys, as well as some tips on keeping you rig going when the road gets long and remote. The tools and spares covered in this video relate specifically to the Ford Ranger, its Mazda BT50 derivative and Jayco caravans, but it is the principles that I will also share that apply to any car and caravan that you intend to take into the Australian outback.
