We make it back to our very first volunteer position, The Everglades Outpost. Corey joins the action right when we pull in, wrangling at 12ft nuisance alligator.

We are excited to be reunited with many of the animas at the EOP that we met the year before. From Romeo the white tiger, to Rex the American Crocodile, to Chewy the camel. This time we were surprised by lion cub sisters who had been rescued and brought to the Outpost to live.

We talk about how the Outpost changed our way of traveling and booking out reservations too far in advanced. We learned that we like to be more flexile with our schedule and the incredible opportunities that have come with that flexibly. It also created the desire for more volunteer opportunities that lead us to the ranch in Ten Sleep, Wyoming, and the farm in Homer, Alaska.

We take on some landscaping projects around the property and cleanup and paint an airboat to be used for photo ops in the park.
