Silver Rupee issued in the reign of Last Maharaja of Sikh Kingdom, Dulip Singh (VS 1900-1906/1843-1849 CE).

This coin was issued from Kashmir by Governor Sheikh Ghulam Muhai uddin.

Coin bears Gobind Shahi couplet, which is in persian and translates to,
Abundance, power and victory (and) assistance without delay are the gift of Nanak (and) Guru Gobind Singh.

Whereas reverse legend translates to, Struck in Kashmir, in the city of the timeless One.
Date reads in Vikram Samvat 1902 (1845 CE) and Leaf mint mark.

Metal: Silver.
Weight 10.71 grams, Dia. 22 mm.
