This is a preview to a two part video series where I remove the front panels on my 2008 Smart Fortwo Pure 451 Petrol / Gasoline model to replace a damaged wing / fender and assess the damage beneath causing poor alignment. I replace the crash cone which is a bolt-on deformable crash element / section designed to be sacrificial and protect the main Tridion structure of the vehicle in a low speed impact.
