Easy Summer Peach Cake Recipe - How to Make a Peach cake
This peach cake is easy (just simple 4 steps!), moist, tender, and will make you want to invite all your friends for tea. It’s awesome to have a quick cake recipe on hand for those days when you don’t have time to make a triple-decker with all the frills.
Ingredients for Peach Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup oil
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs, room temp
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
4 ripe medium peaches (about 1 lb), pitted, peeled (*see note below) and sliced into cubes (You should have 2 1/4 cups chopped peaches)
1 tbs fruit jam
Directions
1: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.Grease baking pan.
2: Grease cake pan with oil and dust with flour, coat it on all sides and tap off to excess
3: Beat eggs one a time in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
4: Add sugar gradually 4-5 min until creamy and fluffy.
5: Add oil and yogurt then mix together
6: Add flour, baking powder, and vanilla powder, sifting slowly into the batter until completely combined.
7: Pour the batter in a pan (the ingredients for two small cake 8inch / 20cm OR one huge cake )
8: Top with peach slices
9: Bake the cake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm or at room temperature.
10: Spread the jam on the surface of the cake.
11: Turn out onto a cooling rack.
