4k Walking Tour - Come Relax on the Beach of Bayahibe, Dominican Republic ASMR Beach Waves

Let's take a walk!

*Technically we aren't walking anywhere on this video. This video is intended to transport you to the beach of Bayahibe where the weather is warm, the breeze blows just right and your fellow beachgoers are enjoying a beautiful, sunny day.

Today we are exploring Bayahibe. Bayahibe is a coastal town close to La Romana located in La Altagracia province and has a more sleepy and laid back feel than the more popularly known and frequented beaches of Boca Chica, Puerto Plata, and Las Terrenas. Bayahibe sees a lot of tourism from Punta Cana and Bavaro as many tourists wish to explore the close by islands of Isla Catalina and Isla Saona on affordable, enjoyable day-trips.

Today we aren't doing too much walking! Bayahibe is known for it's beautiful beaches and so we set up camp here with some other beachgoers and just enjoyed a few hours at one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. The water is about waist high up to 20 yards out and then there is a drop off. There are almost *no* waves at Bayahibe which makes it perfect for children, non-swimmers and people looking for a more calm beach-going experience.

We highly recommend stopping at Bayahibe if you intend to visit Punta Cana, Baravo or the capital of Santo Domingo. The beach is not very populated, but feels very safe although the usable beach area outside of the resorts is quite small. There are multiple restaurants in the town serving everything from authentic Italian fare made by ex-pats living in the DR to German food, to typical Dominican offerings, beach food such as fish lobster, etc. and a steakhouse and fusion restaurant in the center of the city/beach area.
