Spiritfish Hallaniyat 8 Rod, 70 degree test with 19kgs

After a lot of field testing on the Spiritfish Hallaniyat 8 rod to get the action and components on the rod correct, we took the final rod after all the quality checks and did the last final test. Deadlift a 70 degrees with 19kg.

A lot of rods test the breaking or max drag at 45 degrees but in reality no fish is fought at 45 degrees. With big fish and a hard fight there is a lot of muscle fatigue and a fisherman will tend to start high sticking the rod and this is were problems occur. Any rod will break if high sticked but we have built a rod that can take a lot of pressure and still have a great parabolic action to help the fisherman and take off a lot of pressure off the body and back.

This is a clip of one of the many tests we ran on the Hallaniyat 8 rod. 19kgs deadlift at 70 degrees! We are extremely happy with the results and we really look forward to this rod hitting the water around the globe and landing some bus fish!!
