Anura Hitting It

In the Musandam we have a special guy working for us called Anura. Anura and his wife look after our villa and pretty much run our lives! They are an amazing couple and anyone that meets them will agree they are awesome.

Anura used to work as a cleaner in a morgue and then in one of the Hotels before he came to work for Ocean Active to look after our villa. But Anura has over the years become a great fisherman and has built up some great tackle. Anura did not grow up fishing and so he has learnt everything from scratch! Now he can tie all the knots, talk tackle with anyone and catch GTs flat out!

This was the guys fishing last week up in the Musandam. Anura caught a couple of fish but this little video is a classic on how to hit a GT properly! What also needs to be remembered is Anura weighs about 45kgs! So the little guy will do whatever it takes to Hit iT!!!!
