Here, I'll provide you with straightforward solutions to this problem.
Suppose we have Price in Column A and In Column B, we have Profit. Now, I want to deduct Profit from the Price and display the total Cost in column C. Now, based on this scenario and given the condition we are beginners,
here goes the solution:
Write in cell C2, =A2-B2
This is the most basic way to subtract numbers in Excel. If you need to do subtraction in the following rows, follow these steps: 1. Select the cell where you've just written the formula. 2. Hover your mouse at the bottom right corner of that cell. 3. When the mouse cursor changes to a black plus sign, double-click. This formula will automatically be placed on the following cells, giving you a complete result for your data table.
