EXACTLY HOW I DID IT 🔥👇🏽

Before I became a Certified Flexibility Insructor, I thought that if I just held stretches everyday, eventually I’d get the splits. Then 10 months passed with no progress…😭

Here’s what I wish I knew back then:

✅ There are 6 types of exercises that are scientifically PROVEN to increase flexibility:

1. Building strength at end range
2. Active flexibility training
3. Eccentric loading
4. Isometrics
5. PNF
6. Passive stretching

🙅🏽‍♀️ MOST people try number 6, Passive Stretching, when they decide they want to become more flexible and get the splits…but passive stretching and PNF are actually the only 2 that DO NOT CREATE LASTING FLEXIBILITY ON THEIR OWN ❌❌

😵‍💫 Meaning…you could hold passive stretches for 10 years and still see NO progress in your splits.

🤦🏽‍♀️ This is why so many people try stretching, don’t see any progress, and then convince themselves that their body “just can’t do the splits.”

When in reality…you’ve just been training all wrong 😬

🔥 What you actually NEED is a STRUCTURED program that not only includes ALL 6 of the above types of exercises, that also uses PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD which means that the training gets progressively more challenging over time.

THIS IS KEY 🔑 Progressive overload forces your body to adapt to an increased level of flexibility in your splits. Without it, your flexibility level will just stay the same.

💪🏽 This is EXACTLY how I’ve designed my splits program inside ORRA Studio and how I’ve been able to see such great results training splits for the FIRST time at 38 starting with NO flexibilty and no background in gymnastics or ballet.
