Iceland's Volcanic Eruption Attracts Thousands of Visitors

The recent volcanic eruption in Iceland has become a tourist attraction, with thousands of visitors flocking to see the spectacle.

Bloomberg's Ragnhildur Sigurðardóttir went to check out the site.

Iceland is one of the most geologically active places on Earth. On average, there is one volcanic eruption every 5 years.

The eruption in March is much less destructive than the previous ones.

It is also accessible to the public, with only an easy drive and short hike from the country’s capital.

The pandemic have put a dent in the country’s economy by putting tourism on hold.
