Australians are ‘submitting out of fear’ to premiers' appalling strategy: Alan Jones
Premiers have adopted the appalling strategy of dishonestly telling their electorates that they are keeping them safe with border closures says Sky News host Alan Jones.
“And people out of fear submit,” he said.
Mr Jones said the recent death of an unborn baby from the NSW town of Ballina last week “piled tragedy into stupidity in relation to border closures”.
He said there have been desperate pleas issued by parents in New South Wales conveying the anxiety and heartache at being separated from their children who are in Queensland boarding schools for months.
"They are begging Annastacia Palaszczuk to relax border restrictions to COVID-free towns," he said.
Mr Jones also spoke with NSW resident Wendy Mayne, who has three children currently in Gold Coast boarding schools and who have been separated by the border restrictions.
