Think outside the box metal detecting sites that have been hit hard to find things
Metal detecting cellar holes that have already been hit hard you can still find stuff but you have to change your approach. These old sites go back to the 1700s & 1800s and are all way out in the woods along the old roads. Being they are on public land everyone has hit them metal detecting over and over again. So what I did was think outside the box and go offbeat from where everyone else goes. With my Fisher F19 metal detector I went along the side lots from where the cellar holes are and dug every signal that I swung over. I found old buttons and other relics that other people had missed.
