The Kimberly Street Belacan Fried Chicken is surprisingly popular among the Penang locals. The amount Belacan is just right, not too strong, otherwise, it might be too pungent. The chicken skin is nice and crispy, while the inside is still moist and juicy. I would say it is perfectly fried! They also sell the Tofu Salted Fish which we have yet to try.

If you’re in Kimberley Street, one very popular dish that you should not miss is Duck Kueh Chap at Restoran Kimberly. Duck Kway Chap is a rolled noodle sheets and then chopped into smaller pieces, served with an aromatic pork stew broth (and in this case duck as well), topped with pork intestines, pork meat, pork ears, duck meat, cilantro, and some deep-fried garlic oil. It is a hearty bowl of goodness and if you're in Penang, definitely do not miss this Duck Kway Chap, come and check it out for yourself. Note: do expect a crowd, as this place is a popular spot!

Char Bee Hoon seems to be everywhere in Penang, and we had to try it out. We found two stalls in Kimberley Street selling Char Bee Hoon almost next to each other. We got our noodles from the old uncle’s stall. Char Bee Hoon is a simple fried vermicelli noodle with black sauce, some vegetables and topped with fried bean curd.

Another dish that you need to try is this amazing Char Koay Kak! Char Koay Kak means fried rice cake that has been chopped into cubes. It is fried on a flat pan over charcoal and woodfire, the wok hei is amazing and the flavour is suberb! You have to try this out!

Chinese traditional dessert (Tong Sui) is a "soup" dessert that could be either eaten hot or cold, which comes with a variety of ingredients that gives health benefits.

One bonus dish that is worth mentioning, though it is not in Kimberley Street itself, but located right at the edge of Kimberley street, is Lor Mee. Lor Mee is perhaps the most underrated dish in Penang, It's a simple noodle dish with savory gooey gravy and slices of pork meat that's perfect for breakfast.
