Ten Metre Walks: Ep 12 - Abysmal Paths and a Field of Wheat

A bit of a gap, but 10m Walks returns. My first day out for a while is hindered by poorly maintained pathways, lucklustre map reading skills and my inability to tell where the sun is going to set. I return the following day to see an abandoned mill, yet end up filming in a field of wheat. I also have ads on this video because I sing a bit of Sting in the car, but the copyright claim is worth it - what a banger.

Welcome to Ten Metre Walks, where I select 10m of anything anywhere and try to make it look swish on film! The concept was born after I figured it would be a good exercise to try and make a video with restricted parameters. I thought it'd make a decent vlog topic where I could chat about the successes and failures of this process, and learn a bit about filming and nature along the way.

10m stretch of environment
1 hour
One camera
3 lenses (now 5!)
Tripod.
Hopefully through these videos you see a progression in my filmmaking, storytelling, and ability to adapt to these conditions. Remember it is an exercise so the outcome is more often than not pretty rubbish - but we're all here to have a laugh and learn a thing or two.
