The Most Important Part of a Vtec Head Swap

On non vtec F series Accord engines and D series Civic engines it is required to remove the factory block oil limiter before doing a Vtec head swap. The oil limiter is unnecessary for a swap since there's one built into the vtec head. If the limiter on the block is not removed it will lead to oil starvation of the new vtec engine head.
